I waited to send in my comments on Tharling Air Conditioning (713)453-6969 until I got my first
electric bill.  Like many of you, I was caught by surprise this summer when my electricity rates
went sky high.  We were using about 2200 kWhs each month in the heat of the summer and I
knew my 2 original units needed replacing, FAST!  Ron Tharling was better than anyone could
ever imagine.  He saved us over $3000.00 over the cheapest competitor.  He analyzed my needs
and came up with smaller units than the others, with higher SEERS ratings.  He was very easy to
work with.  And by the way, I cut my kilowatts by over 38%!  Tell him where you got his name!

I just wanted to say thank you very much to Jeff,  the on-call serviceman who came to my house
this weekend.  Even  though he had put in a very long work day before he arrived, he came to my
house Saturday night and worked in the  dark to fix my AC so I didn't have to spend another
sleepless night in my hot house! And he did it without any complaint,  even though he was so
tired he could hardly stand!  I am so grateful to Tharling Air and Jeff for taking such good care of
me!

On March 18, 2006 you replaced a circuit board on our AC unit. Although it was a major expense
($400) I was happy that you had correctly diagnosed the issue and the problem was solved.

On Thursday 10/5/06, the fan stopped blowing.  I called your number around 6 pm.  Javier
returned my call within 20 minutes. He and his helper arrived at my house before 8:30 am on
Friday (as he said he would).  When he came down, he told me that the circuit board was not
sending the signal to the fan.  I asked him if it was the same one replaced in March, and he
confirmed it was.

He had already removed his light from the attic, but when I explained the difficulty you had finding
the board the first time and suggested that he get the model and number off the unit, he took his
light back into the attic to do this.   After making  a  phone call, he came back to my door and said
they were going to bypass the board so we would have the AC working while they located the
part.  He showed no sign that he felt inconvenienced by these additional trips in my very small
attic, and was courteous and professional the whole time.  Even more, I asked him to call me
when he found the part so I could meet him to install it.  He did as I asked, and my AC was
repaired within 24 hours of my phone call Thursday night.  

I am very grateful to have a contractor that I can trust to do a job right, and even more stand
behind their warranty.  In addition, I am impressed by the courteous and professional behavior of
you and your crew.

Although I hope it will be a while, I plan to call you if my unit needs additional repair, or ever
needs replacing.
